Starting Monday, November 20, our audio books will have an overdue fine of $1.00 per day (not to exceed the cost of the item).
The average cost of an audio book is $38.00-$50.00 (They are expensive to make, they are expensive to buy..).
The Library has a set yearly budget and we can afford only so many audio books with that budget. To better accommodate where needed, we are increasing our Audio book overdue fines to $1.00.

Red Bud Public Library is a Geocaching Location in Red Bud
Geocaching is a GPS-enabled treasure hunt played in over 190 countries across the world. In this game, outdoor enthusiasts follow GPS coordinates to explore new locations and find caches hidden by fellow geo-explorers in public spaces. Geocaching started in early 2000 as a way of testing the accuracy of GPS receivers. Caches may contain any number of small items, or they may only contain a logbook for players to sign to mark their find. You must use stealth when caching so containers are not removed by non-cachers. Once you sign the log, the container is to be put back in the same spot.
