What do I do if the material I want is not at Red Bud?
If you want a book that is not at Red Bud, we can (most likely) request it from another library. You can do it yourself online at home (log in to Share with your card barcode and 4-digit password) or contact the library (email or phone), or let us know next time you come in!
I placed a hold on a book. When will it come in?
It depends. We get daily delivery Monday - Friday. Typically for items that have no hold lists, it takes about 3 days for material to arrive here after it has been requested, but can take up to a week. However, if you place a hold on a high demand book or a new book, it could take weeks to a couple months. But if you place an older, not so new book on hold, you can get it within a couple days to a week. There is no set time and date on how fast a book is going to get to Red Bud.
Given Red Bud has a copy, our patrons have first priority over our new books (14 day Loans). So, your account may show that you are #180 in line, but if Red Bud has a copy, you could be #25. However, we cannot see exactly what number in line you are in and cannot give a precise date when the requested material will come in.
